The ASVAB stands for Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. The ASVAB is a timed multi-aptitude test, which is given at over 14,000 schools and Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) nationwide and is developed and maintained by the Department of Defense. The people who take this test are the ones who are serious about joining the military. The reason for taking the test is to determine how qualified you are for certain military occupational specialties and Enlistment Bonuses. The SAT stands for Scholastic Aptitude Test. The SAT is a standardized test which is required for college admission by many colleges and universities in the United States. Anyone who wants to take the SAT can take the test. We take the SAT to get into college. Jess <3 |
